The darkness is escaping us… and with it the stars

Have you ever wondered why the night sky is increasingly less starry?
Light pollution is changing our relationship with the night, the landscape, and even ourselves.

All this will be discussed on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 5:30 pm, in the Sala Serra behind the Ispra Town Hall with Martina Fragale, journalist and co-founder of the project “The Light Side of the Night – a constructive storytelling of the dark”, in a conference-show entitled “The stolen dark: does pollution steal our stars?”.
It is an engaging tale of science, environment and culture, to rediscover the value of darkness and the night sky.

The event, organized and proposed by the Municipality of Ispra, is free to enter and is free of charge while seats last.
It’s an appointment not to be missed: it will be an opportunity to look at the night with new eyes!
We are waiting for you!
