Books are always an interesting source of discussion!
Do not miss the interesting opportunity to discuss together feminism and gender issues, starting from the works of contemporary and past authors!
Each month a novel and/or essay will be chosen, which will be used to discuss very current topics.
Comparison meetings will be held at the Ispra Municipal Library in Piazza Locatelli 25, from 7.00 to 9.00 pm, every third Thursday of the month.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday 28 April 2025 (exceptionally on Mondays)
Meetings will be held in the language spoken by the majority of participants (currently English). But if someone would prefer to communicate in Italian, we will try to provide translations and also select books with translations available in the desired languages.
The Book of April: 99% Feminism by Cinzia Arruzza, Tithi Bhattacharya and Nancy Fraser – a bold manifesto calling for feminism rooted in working-class solidarity, anti-racism and anti-capitalism.
We are waiting for you!
