A special evening blending the great tradition of Italian opera with the charm of Brazilian melodies!
On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the Club Europeo of Ispra at House Auditorium in Ispra will host the concert “To the Notes of Ispra and Rio de Janeiro,” held under the patronage of the Municipality of Ispra.
A musical journey capable of uniting two worlds and two cultures through the music of Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Heitor Villa-Lobos, and Carlos Gomes.
Giving voice to this encounter will be soprano Fernanda Schleder and baritone Frederico De Assis, both artists from the Rio de Janeiro Opera House, accompanied on the piano by Georgios Tziatziafis and on the cello by Federica Castro. The artistic direction is entrusted to Francesco Vittorio Grigolo.
The evening will also have a charitable purpose: all proceeds and donations collected will be dedicated to the clinic run by the Franciscan Alcantarine Sisters in Babica and Madhe, Albania, supporting their activities for the local community.
We look forward to sharing an evening of music, emotion, and solidarity with you!
