On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the death of Marco Polo, the Department for Culture of the Municipality of Ispra establishes the contest “Marco Polo, social merchant” aimed at children of the primary school and secondary school, with the intention of stimulating the narrative ability and make known the history of Marco Polo through the production of writings, drawings, audio and video, themed.
The aim of the project is to recreate Marco Polo’s journey as if he had a smartphone and an internet connection.
Papers must be submitted to the Ispra Library no later than 30 November 2024, together with the registration form attached to this regulation.
The papers will be used by the Library to integrate the exhibition on Marco Polo set up at the municipal headquarters, open on opening days until 31 December 2024.
