The 2025 edition of the Festival “Il Lago Cromatico” returns to cheer our summer with its music and events.

The festival will take place from June to September and will involve the municipalities of Angera, Brebbia, Laveno Mombello, Leggiuno (Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso), Ranco, Somma Lombardo, Taino, Travedona Monate.
The Schiaparelli Astronomical Observatory in Varese will also be involved, together with numerous museums, associations, tourist and commercial operators in the area. In this new edition, for the first time, the event will also arrive in Arona (Statue of San Carlo Borromeo).

Drawing again inspiration from Lake Maggiore and the beauty of lower Lombardy, the theme of TIME, its perception, its meaning, how it is transformed and how it is interpreted will be the guide of the new edition of the Festival Il Lago Cromatico.

“In an era where sociality is increasingly marked by invisible timers and algorithms, where time to socialize or simply listen has become almost a consumer good with a predetermined deadline, This is why the Festival Il Lago Cromatico wants to become a place where the time we have regains its space and becomes important again: a time that can be filled with beauty, listening, reflection, meetings.“

The 11th edition of the Festival will propose events in some of the most suggestive sites in the area with the intention of telling its history, appointments in nature and on the shores of the lake to learn to listen to its beauty and live the calm. There will be events to learn about the local traditions, which so strongly characterize each country, as well as three unique events dedicated to science and philosophy.
