“La Baita Biergarten”, a small corner of Germany in Ispra, offers typical German cuisine and unpasteurized Bavarian craft beer.
Baita Biergarten is a typical German restaurant that serves dishes of German origin: Würstel, the shank and marinated herring of the North Sea.
Most of the recipes are from the great-grandmother of the Neumann family – Elisabeth Hennies; other recipes come from a recipe book of 1920.
“La Baita Biergarten” has a large garden used as a real “Biergarten” – beer garden.
Since 2016 there is also the possibility to sleep here: there are two rooms for rent in their inner courtyard with access from the garden. It is a perfect place to spend a few days on Lake Maggiore. Book on Booking
