The new Family Center is born in Ispra: the series of meetings begins “Saturdays on the Third Floor”
The Sesto Calende Zone Plan announces the opening of a new Family Centre in the Municipality of Ispra, adding to those already active in the municipalities of the Area. The initiative is made possible thanks to an agreement with the municipal administration, which has made the spaces designated for the new service available.
The Family Centre in Ispra caters to all families in the area and offers completely free services, with the aim of promoting family well-being and providing educational and relational support. It is an open and welcoming space, designed as a place for listening, information, orientation, and meeting, where you can participate in educational activities, use consultations and thematic desks, and share social moments.
The service was created to support parenting, support the various stages of child and youth development, promote people’s well-being, and strengthen bonds within the community.
The first project to start in the new Family Center – located at Via Madonnina del Grappa 15, on the third floor – will be the series of meetings “Saturdays on the Third Floor”. The initiative includes five events on Saturday mornings, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., between March and May 2026, aimed at families with children between the ages of 6 and 11.
The meetings will address various topics related to growth and family relationships: from play and creativity to managing impulsivity, to the development of emotional intelligence and psychomotor skills.
Participation is free, with reservations required. The project is in fact financed through the Family Policy Fund 2024 of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
This initiative represents only the first step: in the coming months, new projects and activities designed to support parents and children and strengthen the network of services dedicated to families in the area will be presented.
